Disturbing Recording Shows Moment Law Enforcement Are Stabbed in Surprise Attack
A ranking policeman who rushed to the aid of a partner that was assaulted by a knife attacker received the Royal Recognition for Courage.
Sergeant Tim Ansell fought with 27-year-old Jacob Brown subsequent to he pressed a knife to the throat of his colleague Sergeant Marc Foster.
Brown began the violence as the law enforcement personnel and their third officer, PC Marcus Wolstencroft, were speaking to a motorist subsequent to a vehicle incident in that location in July 2023.
Brown stabbed and slashed the two Sgt Ansell and Sergeant Foster before PC Wolstencroft stopped him with a Taser.

He ran into the officer who stumbled and went down to the pavement, after which Sergeant Ansell jumped in and attempted to subdue him to the pavement although being continually attacked with the knife.
PC Wolstencroft drew his Taser and sought a clear shot, bringing the fight to an conclusion.
Sgt Ansell was heard stating: "Please provide help on my neck now, I'm bleeding in the throat."
Sergeant Ansell sustained two deep cuts to his throat and additional wounds to his limbs and torso, while Sergeant Foster experienced slash wounds.
Officials said Sgt Foster employed his hands to control his colleague's hemorrhaging before emergency responders arrived.
The new award follows subsequent to the trio of policemen received departmental Courage Honors in fall 2023 and the prestigious bravery honor from the area Police Federation in April 2024.
